We believe that every person deserves safety, healthcare, opportunity, and the freedom to live authentically. Rooted in lived experience and collective leadership, our work challenges discrimination, builds resilience, and strengthens communities to create lasting, systemic change.

What We Do

Our Approach

Our work is grounded in human rights principles, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and guided by the values enshrined in the Constitution of India. We adopt a holistic, justice-oriented framework that centers dignity, equity, and long-term transformation.

  • Community-led and participatory: We place communities at the heart of our work—centering their voices, leadership, and lived experiences in identifying challenges, shaping solutions, and driving change.
  • Evidence-based and research-informed: Our interventions are grounded in credible data, rigorous research, and continuous learning. We adapt and evolve our strategies based on evidence, ensuring relevance, effectiveness, and accountability.
  • Rights-based and intersectional: We recognize systemic inequalities and actively address overlapping forms of discrimination and marginalization. Our approach seeks to dismantle structural barriers and promote inclusive access to justice and opportunity.
  • Survivor-centered and trauma-informed: We prioritize dignity, safety, agency, and healing in all engagements. By fostering supportive and empowering environments, we ensure that survivors remain at the center of decision-making processes affecting their lives.
  • Sustainable and long-term focused: We are committed to advancing structural change and lasting impact, moving beyond short-term outcomes to create resilient systems and empowered communities.
