Raahi is a Bangalore based organisation working on the rights of communities marginalised on the basis of gender and sexuality. Its work primarily focuses on providing holistic support to LGBTQIA+ community members in times of crisis. Raahi�s aim is to equip community members to be able to handle crises independently and fully participate in society as equal citizens living with dignity. We provide pro bono legal aid and advice, shelter support, and medical and mental health support to those in crisis. Raahi focuses on persons assigned female gender at birth, who face unique challenges even within the larger LGBTQIA+ community.

For individuals who are queer women or transmasculine persons, Raahi has been running a shelter since 2024.
